Built a small tool that explains prescriptions in plain language — is this a common need?

Pharmacy Practice Discussion

Hi everyone. I've been working on a small side project after noticing how confusing prescriptions can be for patients and family members without medical background — especially handwritten ones.

The tool uses AI to turn a photo of a prescription/med sheet into a plain-language explanation: what it's for, how to take it, things to watch out for. It's not meant to replace a doctor or pharmacist — just to help people understand what's already been prescribed to them.

Curious if this is something others have run into too, either personally or professionally. What do people usually do when they can't read or understand a prescription?

Happy to share more details in the comments if anyone's interested.
