Killer at 16 malice

I just joined forsaken 3 days ago and I've always disabled the killer toggle. I've known forsaken for a long time though, I've been eyeing the chance skin at the opera GX collab so I signed in, just at the second day I received 15 malice so I'm wondering if I would become the killer with 16 malice (killer disabled)?

I don't want to be the killer, I don't want to lose the malice either, I think it looks cool like that
