Bond refund from child care

Something strange has happened to me twice now when pulling kids out of child care. In both cases I have had to chase up the center for bond refund after six months because it hasn't been paid.

In both cases, I assumed it would get paid back to me automatically somehow or they would follow me up. It was only six months later that I realized I had never got in paid back and thought to follow up.
