I want to move back to where all my friends live I miss them a lot

I have been alone ever since I graduated college. Everyone drifted apart, but I still am really close with my childhood friends. Most of my friends from college are either in the Navy, married or still in school studying somewhere in the country. I know as we grow older, we drift apart and people lose friends. I never was fortunate enough to be in a relationship and never probably will be. It’s been 3 years since I last saw them. My parents travel the world, and moved to a more retirement friendly area. I am currently in rehab, living with my parents. Hopefully I will be out by December, and I find a new job. The job market is really bad right now as well

I have some savings, that I could blow on traveling the world or move back to my childhood home where my friends are. I remember the high school days, where we used to go out and do stupid shenanigans and I miss that. I honestly think, I have a huge void of loneliness because I was always the “star”. Now seeing how downhill my life went, losing friendships.

So should I travel the world? Or should I spend my money on moving back to my childhood home?
