A death that always makes me cry

I will say even though I don’t love his character, >!John’s death always gets me tearing up. Especially the relief he feels at knowing that Elena is human and what he did saved her from becoming something he protected her from his entire life. (Even tho she becomes a vampire later on…!< >!😬!<>!)!<

!I don’t know why but it gets me more than Jenna’s death in this episode!!< Anybody else feel the same?
