Question about nwhs ending

I was 12 when nwh dropped so I was not that smart to think about it back then but now when I am 17, one wuestuom struck my mind which is. When doctor strange casted the spell for people to forget Peter parker is spiderman that went wrong and brought everybody who knew Peter parker is spiderman into their universe. But when Doc stranger casted the spell for everyone to forget Peter parker didn’t that spell travel through multiverse and people from tobey and andrews universes forgot about them being Peter parker too??
