New Player from Duel Links. How do you actually learn choke points and matchups without losing your mind?
Hey everyone,
I played Duel Links for a long time, but lost my account a couple of years ago. I decided to drop DL entirely because restarting from scratch felt like an brutal grind. Recently, the Yu-Gi-Oh itch came back, and I decided to pick up Master Duel instead. I’m loving the new player experience here compared to DL, however, the sheer depth of the game is hitting me hard. There are thousands of cards and dozens of viable decks running long, complex combos and if it’s anything like DL, you gotta know what each deck does, their combo lines and where it’s most vulnerable to interrupt.
I’ve been watching YouTube guides and checking out MasterDuelMeta but I feel like that’s not enough. For players who made a similar jump, how did you learn what to interrupt? Are there specific decks you focused on?
Any advice would be very much appreciated
Thank you
OH AND I’M HAVING LOTS OF FUN PLAYING EVEN THOUGH I KEEP LOSING TO KEWL TUNES, K9 AND SHARKS.
