SOT website doesn't recognize the link between my microsoft and xbox live accounts

Every time i try to log in it keeps sending me to the support forum, and asking me to create an xbox live account, even though i have one at it is linked to the microsoft account i am trying to log in with. Has anybody tried this before, or do you have a solution
