Did they confirmed it?

Just watched the episode 6 and the first thing that I thought after the end was "did they just confirmed that Daeron's hair was never blonde/white?". Gwayne arrived at Tumbleton, spoke with Ormund and Daeron, no reaction. Spoke with Daeron after, no reaction or mention to the color of the hair. I'm no book purist and I get that they trying to sell Alicent as an hypocrite and all that for the bastard talk. We know Dareon is VizzyT's because of the dragon and the absence of the Nettles ambiguity, but what? whats the point of the batstard talk when a Targ can pop out with whatever hair color? One simple line in one of the interactions could have solved this.
