Hot take on romantic ships & forced ships in media

Is it a hot take to say that I like Korrasami better then caitvi ? I don’t hate caitvi as a ship I really don’t it’s just that I get confused when people compare them to Korrasami and say they’re alike. They’re not similar to one another, Korra and Asami’s had growth and we saw how much Korra grew up and how her and Asami’s friendship developed then it blossomed into something special. Caitlin and Vi’s relationship is strange to be in a way cause I don’t understand how vi essentially forgives the enforcers, who have killed her people and even her parents, by not only getting romantically
involved with one, but then even becoming one herself. it makes the trauma she should have from the enforcers seem irrelevant and ignorable. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t like the comparison between a good ship to a bad one, that’s just my personal opinion. I also saw someone comparing the two ships in a TikTok comment section and decided to post my opinion here. Btw this is my opinion on it not a diss.
