UK trained ophthalmologists who have CCT and flee’d - how’d you find it?

As title states.

Did you find it difficult to adjust into the new systems? How did UK training compare to Aus/Canada/Middle east/etc? Any additional exams? Was the move worth it? Work life balance? Difference in pay? Was private practice realistic as a foreign trained ophthalmologist? Is the grass truly greener?
