How can you follow a religion with so much suffering behind it?

When you guys hear about the horrible and evil things your religion does, for example the blatant racism+racist killings in the community, the way your people will bully people to the point of death just because they like the same gender. And beyond that the way your people will excuse horrible actions as long as they turn to Christ, which is why pastors can do what they do to our children. People can even confess to...yknow, in churches and they'll actually let it go. Anyway, what I'm wondering is how you can support and believe in a religion with so much evil in it?
