Looking for help (advice?) accessing one item at the Hoover Institution Archives

I’m a researcher (and librarian too!) based in the Europe and need photographs of one specific, very slim diary held at the Hoover Institution Archives. As far as I can establish, this item exists only there and there is no other copy available elsewhere.

I have already contacted the archive, but the only option offered was expensive professional digitisation. Travelling from Europe for this single item is not realistic, so I’m looking for someone local who could photograph it for me. I would of course pay for their time and any costs involved. Please PM me. I’d be too interested to know why they no longer offer simple, inexpensive scans. I believe they used to provide that service...
