Practical Skills Assessment

I am a year 1 Medical Imaging student studying at RMIT. I had my practical skills assessment for semester 2 today and I failed. The tutor said that I have to go on a learning support plan and I need to have a chat with one of the supervisors of the medical imaging course to discuss a support plan for me. This assessment was a hurdle, and I am stressing that I will now not move forward with my course and will have to repeat this course, just because I failed the practical skills assessment. I came out crying and have been overthinking this for so many hours now. I just wanted to come on here to hear about other students experiences and if I am in trouble for not passing... :(
