Is it okay for a character to implicitly threaten rape if it's immediately and gruesomely punished?

GRAPHIC CONTENT

There's a scene in my book where the main character (male) is surrounded by a group of bandits, when a mysterious heroine steps in and warns them all to back off. The bandits turn and laugh at the prospect of being held up by a woman and, unfazed, imply that they'll kill the protagonist and then "have their way", so to speak, with her. When they don't relent, the heroine uses her laser sword to slash one in half and amputate the hand of another, leaving the remaining members to retreat in cowardly fear.

My goal is to provide the reader with a sense of satisfying justice in an otherwise dark and uncaring world, like "Fuck yeah! Take that you pieces of shit!". I have no problem broaching dark subject matter, but I want to avoid tasteless rhetoric. What do you think?
