Is ETL Certification Really Worth Paying Attention To?
I’m currently researching batteries for my first off-grid setup, and I’m trying to learn as much as possible before making a purchase.
Since this is my first time building an off-grid system, I’m mainly focused on finding a battery that is safe, reliable, and can last for many years. I’ve been watching a lot of battery reviews and reading discussions from experienced users.
One thing I noticed is that many popular 48V server rack batteries highlight UL certification, which seems to be something a lot of people look for.
However, during my research, I recently came across Vatrer 48V server rack battery. Instead of UL certification, it mentions ETL certification.
I honestly don’t know much about ETL, so I’m wondering:
Does ETL certification have the same level of credibility as UL? Is it something I should consider when choosing a battery?
Thanks!
