Is William still close to his Spencer side of the family as in his aunts, uncle and cousins?

A lot of discourse going on asking if William is close to them the way Harry is. A lot of comparisons. A lot of accusations that they are mad at him bc he “lied” about going to his aunts husband funeral ( I heard he did go so idk). Does anyone know?
