Is it just me....

Is it just me, or does the ob triage treat you differently based on how many kids you've had. I feel like every pregnancy, the nurses at the triage are more and more dismissive.

Today, I went in because for 2 hours, I had strong 1 minute contractions, and they were about 4 minutes apart. I thought i was going into preterm, so I was worried and figure I'm going to the closet hospital because, of course, it was Sunday middle of the night. I drove myself there, and of course, once I lay down contractions, stop.

Also, I don't know if I'm being sensitive, but they told me during check out that my doctor said that I need to find another office if I plan to deliver there.....

I've had the same doctor for a long time it didn't sound like something she'd say. Also I don't plan to deliver there. .. it's just slightly closer, and I was alone. I just did not like the nurse at all.

I would have driven to my hospital and will be sure to do so next time. I've just struggled so much during this pregnancy, plus hormones. Being dismissed like that, by the nurses and presumably my doctor, is really bothering me.

There were other concerns I had, but they just said it was probably baby.
