Banned by community subreddit?

Hi. I have been recently banned in two communities, but only managed to revoke just one. The other one's moderators appear to be deeply persistent with the ban, and even muted me permanently from requesting to revoke the ban. It's pretty hard to swallow because I do not harbour any hatred or dislike against the subreddit group that has just permanently muted and banned me.

With these kind of subreddit moderators, are they just biased, or just outright hostile? I don't like this fact.
