Does Failure Actually Teach More Than Success?
People often say success is the best teacher, but I’m starting to think the opposite might be true.
When you’re successful, everyone praises you. Very few people tell you what actually worked or why. It’s easy to get caught up in the moment and assume you’ve figured everything out.
Failure is different.
People point out your mistakes. You replay your decisions. You’re forced to reflect, accept feedback, and understand what went wrong. It’s uncomfortable, but it’s also where real learning happens.
In that sense, failure isn’t just a setback—it can be a much better teacher than success.
Do you agree?
Has a failure in your life taught you something that success never could? I’d love to hear your experience.
