OnePlus Buds 4 Poco / Xiaomi compatibility

Hey everyone,

I'm planning to buy the OnePlus Buds 4 to pair with my Poco F8 Ultra. However, I’ve heard that Xiaomi/HyperOS phones sometimes have problems that drop the audio quality down with certain earbuds, preventing them from playing at their best codecs.

Does anyone use this combo and can confirm if they work in full quality without any issues?

Also, what other alternatives would you recommend in a similar price range that offer great sound quality and good ANC? I already know about the Earfun Air Pro 4, but OnePlus B4 seem to have a better, more compact size and functional volume sliders on the stems.

Besides great sound and ANC, having reliable multipoint, low latency (game mode), and personal sound/EQ adjustments are important features to me. Sometimes I will also use them to call.
