AITAH?

This might be a weird take, and maybe it’s just me, but hear me out.

This is like the second or third time I’ve heard Taryne and Alisha bring up the fact that Ashley’s husband Jackson’s friends are all married or in relationships.

On the UA podcast, Taryne said she was gutted when she saw a groomsman wearing a wedding ring. Then Alisha mentioned it again in her vlog and maybe on PB… It just keeps getting brought up.

The part I find so weird is like… why are you mourning the fact that your friend’s husband’s friends are in committed relationships? 😭 It almost comes across as, “Ugh, how dare they all be taken?” which is such an odd thing to be hung up on!!!!

And honestly, if I were one of those wives or girlfriends, and I kept hearing Ashley’s close people publicly talking about how disappointing it is that all the husbands are taken… I’d be side eyeing them a little. 😅

Maybe I’m the weird one, but my brain would never even go there. If my friend’s husband’s friends were all in relationships, my reaction would be… okay? Good for them? I wouldn’t feel disappointed, let alone bring it up multiple times.

It just gives off a strange vibe, especially because it’s been mentioned more than once. Am I reading too much into it, or does anyone else find it a little weird too?
