Certify video footage

I see many bodycam videos claiming to be real lately.

How can you certify real footage in the era of AI? How hard would it be to get it deployed to, at least, public cameras?

I had the following idea: encoding the brand, model, SN and timestamp all signed by a trusted CA in an on screen QR or steganography. Would this be viable?
