I am missing out on having a dream friend group that I’ve always wanted. How do I form this irl?

University age. Things just don’t seem to stick and I always feel like the weird floater friend that’s not totally completely integrated, getting left out of core stuff. It’s been like this for a while in my life so I pick up on the patterns and it just seems to end up this way.
What I think I need is a genuine original experience in which I naturally meet this friend group formation at inception.
