Re-registration from CC (TN) to individual(KA) inter-state, did anyone try this?

I found a good car in TN, they said it is a CC vehicle and I can be the first owner in RC,if I purchase the car. I’m from Bangalore and they said they can register it in Bangalore instead of Chennai.
This whole process is completely new for me and never heard about it.
If any one of you has an experience on this or knows about it. Please let me know.
