new pharmacy tech

hi guys i’m new pharmacy tech and im starting to dislike my job. i’ve been here since beginning of may so going on 3 months and im just so overwhelmed and tired. ive never been in the pharmacy world ever only retail. I just feel very behind because im not understanding all of the materials or as quick as my other employees. i have difficult time understanding what the tpr mean and how to fix them. i get confused with the filling. I’m also not a fast typer or the best at the calculation. it’s not like i don’t understand how to do most of the stuff but since flu season is approaching i just feel so much pressure. my manager told she would only give the hours to the people who can retain the information and who won’t make multiple mistakes. i work with people who tell you how to do something one time and expect you to master it just like that. i have a difficult time with insurance as well. it’s to the point where im dreading going to work.
