Backup bug

So I've noticed that during the weekend, for some reason, in the morning, my WhatsApp notification is showing me that it's backing up. But it's not really doing anything the bar is just loading.

Even though the backup worked over the weekend, right now it goes into this backing-up loop every single day without actually progressing.

Has anyone else experienced this bug?
