Staring rank iron 2 am i not good enough?

So this is my first ever gaming laptop and im
Playing fps and shooter game first time in pc earlier in mobile played some during lockdown that too unserious games and after playing for almost 2 weeks unrated i reached level 20 yesterday and unlocked my rank today it game me iron 2 but i heard ppl be jumping to bronze directly am i not good enough???
