Freshers guidance please. Need some help regarding the course AI&DS.

Seniors, I've got Ai&Ds in lnct main. I've heard the course and syllabus most likely are the same as the CSE and the faculty itself doesn't know much. So if it is, then how should I work these four years to crack a good placement. Need your opinions and advice.

Guys btw, Can you please share about your overall experience of college life and academics in your course years. And how about cultural events and sporting or club activities of there is.

I need some insight regarding the laptop too. Well, laptop prices are just hiking over and over, I'm going to need a laptop for studies as well as personal use, can you guys give me some idea about the specs I might require for my course and some suggestions too if you have.
