My problem (and people want to)live in Vietnam (I’m a Vietnamese)

Hi guys I’m Long Vu or Longvujack9 on the internet in most social medias and let’s talk about this topic.
As a Vietnamese that is trying to grow my channel and a gamer, I think it’s fair to say that Vietnam was perfect to live and building a career.Well that’s because of its affordable price to live and the people are friendly, happy and very welcome with its climate (depending on the place like the North,Middle or South) and beautiful places like the countrysides, cultural and history.
Note:I’m gonna divide two sections. One is the current state, two is the gaming law and three is the conclusion.
1. There’s a thing that made Vietnam less “live-worthy“, that is corporate Vietnamese slop.If gaming and VNG aren’t enough, we have VinGroup-the largest company in Vietnam.I bring this up because,I recently found out the damage of they building a living place aka “Disney’s Vietnamesication“ in Hai Van Pass (or Đèo Hải Vân).According to my research, they are building a VinHome place (or a residents) in it so they can expand their VinHome from North to the Middle in Da Nang. That’s a thing that we’ve been seen many countries that blow up too fast like Bali-Indonesia, where it from a peace island to a place for tourism, South Korea-the large companies turn things into modern sloppy there or an example like Bukchon Hanok village in Seoul which is now being over tourism…Uncle Ho once told us that our old king (king Hung) and other generations had protect our country, so we must do it in the modern day!

2. But I have more to talk and be honest because now, living in Vietnam is sucks for most gamers or devs in general. Why I said such a thing that patriotisms get mad and get suspended at school?Because it isn’t needed in the first place like the government already made a law that Vietnamese players had to say goodbye to SuperCell Games. Our story began with this single yet impactful and control it is:Decree 147/2024 NĐ-CP. It seems like a normal laws that made by the state but in the gaming section, games now require two to three things. The first is an office in Vietnam for foreigners company, so the state can get some revenues via taxes and bills like electrics or waters. The second is a local publisher like Garena or VNG, so they can make “changes” that fit for our cultural and laws. But that’s not all, you must have license for G1 (which is online games aka multiplayer games like player interact with each others) or a sort of “What does it contain” for G2,3 and 4 (it’s kinda like G2 is a game like offline game that downloads data to play, G3 is player-player or the game system like local co-op and G4 is offline game). After the decree began on December of 2024, and then many games were slowly delisted from the Vietnamese region started in 2025 where we have Pokemon Go,World Box (mobile),The Tower-Idle Tower Defense Game and the most famous recent is The Battle Cat….The games that weren’t getting delisted got its own local version like Play Together or Roblox VNG now are even worst than E.T from the Atari 2800 because of its corporate and sloppiness that VNG made. You might ask yourself “Am I wasting my time on reading slop that I wouldn’t care about by a stupid Vietnamese dude about shits that like ranting?”Well…no
3.I was trapped in the consumerism by them like VinSchool,VinHome and VinMart but thanks to my researching that can know realize Vietnam isn’t the old one.I feel a pain and kinda didn’t like my government as before. So after all of that, what you should do and shouldn’t in Vietnam and what we can do?
I think that we should support the cultural and reject corporate slops. For me though, I like a simple life or anything that is peaceful so enjoy every single moments of visiting or living in the old Vietnam that we’re having!
Best Wishes for y’all
