Could IMUs circle be a gateway to another dimension

So we see things come out of the void, what about if people or things are able to travel to a void world. What if the only way to travel to the void realm is when IMU completes whatever Joyboy stopped/prolonged him from doing 800 years ago?

800 years ago Joyboy fucked the original 20 kingdoms plans up so what if IMU calls himself king of the world because he is the one trapped here until he finds the final piece to whatever he started 800 years ago so he can go back to his home world or bring his home world to the current One Piece world.

Would defeating IMU make the circle, eyes and all that's came in and out of it disappear forever?

I guess if IMU just had a power of Void and was able to store anything it would all make sense too but I feel there is more to the circle with the eyes and with how they help IMU is assume they're on his side which would also debunk IMU turning on the 20 original and tricking them vs he is the last remaining one able to help them either return to the one piece world or merge their worlds.
