Accounting degree

Starting my bridging course with the end goal finishing my accounting major. Just wanted to get input from anyone who’s recently graduated or has any idea on how cooked the job market would be in about 3-4 years? Ive been reading some pretty daunting things about job prospects drying up.

In terms of my career pathway, I am planning on doing my CA and hopefully get into FA or auditing. I want to work for the government (AFP,ATO). Any recommendations on what to look for whilst I study/any input on that.
