We love you, Brother. Safe journeys ahead and pahinga ka na. Thank you for loving us. I will miss how you wait for us by the driveway and windows.

We had to bury him in a nearby tree and bushes where we first met him.

Cats have short lives and we understand that. However, life takes us by surprise.

I met this catto around October 2025 with his “wife” in a nearby bushy area near over village. Attached sya sa wife nya and with a collar sya before. Some said they got abandoned there as he seemed to wait for their “masters.” Around March, his “wife” disappeared and I thought pati sya aalis na din. He stayed muna for some time and he got attached to us. Every time aalis kami or babalik sa house, sumasalubong sya. We gave him a lot of treats and care. Although, yun nga lang, ayaw ng orange 🐈 ko na may new cats sa unit namin.

For a week, pumapasok sya sa unit namin to chill. Yung isang tuxedo cat namin okay naman sa kanya. Yesterday, my partner insisted he stayed inside muna. Typical of semi-adopted strays, mas preferred nya to stay out. This morning, 8 am, nilagyan ko sya ng kibbles sa bowl nya sa garage. He wasn’t there like the usual. Around 9 am, lumabas kami sa unit and to our shock, he was lying on his side beside the vacant unit.

I knew that he was already gone kasi never natulog sya sa other units. We checked and he was still soft. His head and eyes were pointing to our unit. I think he tried to return but hindi na sya umabot (grabe ang sakit nito for us). As per observation, no wounds and blood, no broken bones, and clean. However, he had clear drool. May hinala ako na he ingested toxins but kasi typical of dying beings, they drool. We will check the cctv once the guard is here.

Hopefully, he passed on due to natural causes such as heart attack. He is such a sweet soul if he got taken away by someone or something.

Lost our semi-adopted catto today 🌈
