Feeling discouraged about my chances of getting into nursing school.

Hello!

I'm an upcoming fourth-year General Biology student at UCSD who's seriously considering nursing, but I'm feeling really discouraged about my academic record and was hoping for some honest advice.

I've struggled academically in the past year or two, and I know I've made mistakes (e.g., study habits). One of my biggest concerns is that I received a C- in physiology, and I've taken a molecular biology course twice and unfortunately haven't passed either attempt. I'm currently working on getting approval to take it again because it's required for my major.

I know these grades don't look good, and I'm worried they may have seriously hurt my chances of getting into nursing school. I know my academic record isn't where I want it to be, and I'm trying to figure out what I can do moving forward.

I'm planning to meet with a career advisor, but i'd really appreciate hearing from people who have been in a similar situation or who have experience with nursing admissions.
