Feeling helpless with my job
This is my 3rd job, I am passionate about animal welfare and hence I joined an NGO. Though my last two jobs also made me look unreliable because of the fast paced work and blunders and inexplicable errors, I thought doing a job with more flexibility and passion might favour me. But no, I am in a slow paced job and my motivation is always low because the deadlines are far and the wins here are not quick.
My anixety and stress have come down, but my procrastination and carelessness are showing up and I am unable to cover it how much ever I try. I feel I am so incapable as compared to others and I envy how easily they get things done, while I looks like a dumb. in the NGO, they initially saw with respect, because I come from good corporate background, but now that my work is surfacing my flaws, I am perceived as someone that is with low potential and has only passion with words but no action. I am on bupropion, but it doesn't seem to work much.
Though my salary is very less, I come to work everyday, because working here makes me productive. I joined gym, to increase my dopamine, I am trying to stay on good diet. And yet, my 30year old self looks like a new grad with no knowledge of world and lack of professionalism. We had a HR training, where I was made captain for a game and I had to pass the instructions to my team and compete with other team. I got the instructions wrong from the trainer and I passed the wrong instructions to my Team and I looks extremely dumb in front of everybody when my Team was doing the opposite of what they expected us to do.
I don't know how else to survive. I am writing to do lists, trying to do my best, but I continue to fail. I am afraid, I can never grow.
