How to become that kind of woman
I've recently realized that many of the qualities I admire in fictional noblewomen and "villainess" characters aren't the fantasy elements—they're their etiquette, composure, and the way they carry themselves.
They often seem poised without being arrogant, confident without being loud, polite while still setting boundaries, emotionally disciplined, well-spoken, observant, and respectful.
They know when to speak, when to listen, how to make others feel respected, and how to remain graceful under pressure.
I'd love to cultivate that kind of presence in real life.
What etiquette principles or habits have genuinely changed the way you present yourself?
Some areas I'm particularly interested in are:
Conversational etiquette
Speaking confidently but humbly
Active listening
Handling disagreements respectfully
Emotional composure
Professional and social etiquette
Body language and posture
Making a positive first impression
Dressing neatly and appropriately without being flashy
Being kind without becoming a people-pleaser
Knowing when silence is the better choice
I'm not looking for "high society" etiquette as much as timeless manners and habits that earn genuine respect.
I'd also appreciate any books, resources, or role models you recommend.
