Great lobbies riot games

Back-to-back I faced two different 2500+ LP Challengers in my Aram Mayhem games, very enjoyable. The first one played Quiyana and destroyed the lobby pretty much by herself (granted it's Mayhem, but the guy was *clearly* way above the lobbys skill level). Second one was an Ekko, same story.

Other than that, I'm stuck playing with and against Master players and not uncommonly Grandmasters, occassionally Challengers as mentioned above. Facing Challengers doesn't happen too often, but it's also not *that* rare. I am a diamond player and am getting incredibly tired of frequently finding myself in these lobbies. Playing ranked solo queue is more relaxing than playing Aram at this point.

Do I just soft-int games so that I can play with people on my skill level or what? My MMR as far as I can tell isn't even that good, but I'm starting to just consider stop playing Aram due to how incredibly unplayable these lobbies feel. Anyone else in the same boat?
