What's the best Gen AI course for a complete beginner in 2026? Need honest recommendations

I want to learn generative AI but i am a complete beginner just know of promting and content creation. there is way too many options out there and i am confused. 
i have seen courses from deeplearnin, coursera, simplilearn and tons of free stuff on youtube. has anyone actually done any of these? are they worth it?
also do I need to learn traditional ML first or can i jump straight into GenAI stuff like LLMs and prompt engineering?
