Alohilani Amex Breakfast perk

We are booked for Alohilani Waikiki hotel thru Amex fine hotels and understand that the free breakfast perk is thru access to the longboard club.

Does anyone know if this is flexible/enforced to deny entry for afternoon hors d'oeuvres?

Could our Amex room upgrade perk us up to full access to the club?
