3 times in one week I’ve dealt with evangelist drivers.

I’m not even counting the religious music station (that I told the driver to please switch off). Two of them tried to give me a religious magazine, on top of their preaching. Looked like the same publication.

Has anyone else noticed an uptick in this behavior? Was I just unlucky this week, or is there some movement going on and they’re all doing the “captive audience” thing now in cars?. I know that was becoming a trend on airplanes, baiting for engagement on short form video.

Each time I’ve said absolutely I am not interested. I told one that had he not approached me with this, he would’ve had a five star and a normal tip which for me ranges between 20 and 25%.. but instead he’s going to get a one star, no tip, and I will be reporting and blocking him.

I am aware right now it is not clearly against the rules with uber. It should be. I’ll still report it because it’s inappropriate and with each report, I will ask uber to update a policy about this behavior..
