My 19 y/o CC Cashback setup

Hi everyone, i’ve spent a little while now working on my cash back set up… I think it’s pretty solid and I know this won’t make me rich, but every penny helps. Hope I can be a help to anyone, always love to hear suggestions

-MSGCU youth cc (got when i was 16), first sock drawer card

-Chase Freedom unlimited, mainly for the 1.5% catch all, and for the 3% dining

-Amex BCP, seems pretty solid for the annual 95$ for the 6% grocery, 3% gas, and i already use hulu and disney plus so the $120 credit is always nice

-Bilt blue, this is just for my rent, i’ve looked into the bilt 2.0 system… too complicated and would require a complete overhaul, but the card saves me from the transaction fees on my rent

-U.S. Bank Cash Plus card, the 5% on home utility, internet, tv, and streaming will be very helpful as I’m getting an apartment with my gf

I really don’t travel that much yet as big trips feel more adult, but later on i’d definitely want something nice.

Also, I know the Chase sapphire preferred seems to be widely regarded as good, chase points vs cash back is just something I don’t get yet? are the points much more worth it?
