How to set boundary w/out offending
Ive already posted in r/MentalHealthSupport but just want to post here as well in case it has a better chance of getting replies
Ill try make this as short as possible-
Long story short ive had a mental slump for just under a month. Recently posted venting because i was overwhelmed as this is the first time my mental health has crashed this badly.
Realised i was selfish; decided to start forcing myself to do at least small tasks then slowly build up.
Been a week, have accomplished enough that my family have been less worried due to my functioning somewhat normally again.
My parent has been the only one to realise how bad my mental health got (i think), and i believe that due to becoming worried/scared for me has become extra clingy and asks for hugs etc alot more often now.
Usually not a problem but rn i cannot stand physical touch not sure why i think its a mixture of guilt for seizing to function properly for a month and genuine disgust at myself for a multitude of reasons.
Sometimes this aspect becomes bad enough that the thought of being around other people makes me feel genuinely abhored even if its family.
How do i work past this??? Does anyone have any advice??? Thank you
