What matters more to you: low fees or transparency?

When I first got into crypto, I mostly compared exchanges by trading fees and the number of listed tokens.

Today, I ask different questions. Can I verify that customer assets are backed Does the platform explain how it protects users? Is there a contingency fund if something unexpected happens?

That's why I've started paying more attention to things like Proof of Reserves and dedicated protection funds. For example, BingX regularly publishes Proof of Reserves reports and also maintains a $150M Shield Fund as part of its broader security framework.

None of these measures eliminate risk completely, but I think transparency is a much better indicator than marketing slogans.

If you had to choose one factor before depositing funds somewhere, what would it be?
