Whats one advice someone gave you which you always remember?

Mine is don't take work by heart even if someone says you anything doesnt mean u have to take it by heart.
Like I got late to work today like j 10 mins and I live 1.5 hr away and I still got hurt like I felt like crying and almost did and I got so sad but is it worth it?
