Tribute to my beloved cat Miep: My cat died this night very suddenly and unexpectedly
Unfortunately, around 3:00 / 4:00 a.m., Miep suffered what was likely a heart attack or a stroke of some kind or sort and passed away. I took a 24/7 taxi to a local 24/7 Animal Hospital as I was tipped in my panic by ChatGPT, where she was humanely euthanized as quickly as possible. She ultimately passed away at around 5:15 a.m.
Exactly 1 week ago her son died from a collapsed lung caused by longterm lung/heart disease. The mothercat seemed allright but maybe she did die from heartbreak?
She was allready in the dying phase when I arrived at the hospital, she was pale, she was in shock the vet said and her pulse was weak.
Anyone else who this happened to? Do some people let their cat die in their own homes when these sort of events happen? She was allready in dying phase when I arrived at the Animal Hospital.
