Advice on losing weight while starting HRT
Ok, this might be a silly question but what do yall think the best way would be for me to lose weight? I’m about 1.5 months on HRT.
I know I can hold myself to a calorie deficit (not an unhealthy super restrictive one, I’m just looking to lose 30ish pounds for general health) and get to my goal weight within a year.
My question is, do you think this would slow down the results I see with HRT? Because at the end of the day for fat distribution to work… you have to put on fat. I also know the first year of HRT is when a lot of changes happen fast so I don’t want to starve my body of nutrition while it’s tryna build dah titties n everything.
I’m 6’1 and relatively broad (about 16.5 inch shoulders) and currently weight about 290, so while I’m not insecure about my weight I’m not exactly looking to gain any as is. I’d even be fine staying around this weight if it was in the right places.
So I’m kinda leaning towards doing a 3-4 month deficit then a 3-4 month “bulk” cycle so to speak kind of like body builders, but honestly wasn’t sure how healthy of an approach that was.
Any advice or anecdotal experience would be greatly appreciated. I know there’s a curvy plus size goddess hidden in my bone structure I just want the most efficient path to carve her out
