Recommendations for cities for my 2,5 week trip

Hello! I am flying to Osaka from Helsinki on 1.4.2027. I will be staying until 18.4. My main base will be Osaka, due to a concert on 2.4 and a festival on 9-10.4.

But I really want to visit other places too, should I stay in Osaka for the first weekend and get the jetlag off, then next week before the festival stay in Kyoto and Nara? Then after the second weekend, spend the last week in Tokyo and for the last night, again in Osaka for the flight?

What are your recommendations for cities and durations of visiting? Is 2+2 days in Kyoto and Nara enough?
