FB Sport - Popped & Confused

Newer to paddling and bought an FB Sport board on Amazon in June 2025. Multiple friends have the board, have had them for years, and have had no issues. Mine popped on the 2nd time using it. It was within the 30 day, original purchase window. So I was able to swap it.

I’ve used it 7-10 times since then and took it out today. I blew it up and had no issues. Had it sitting on the pavement while I was blowing up my friend’s board. We heard it pop and found it burst on the seam in 2 spots. Probably was sitting, not being inflated, for 7-10 minutes.

I pumped it up to 14 PSI (PSI rec is 12-15). I’ve done it multiple times and had no issues. So I’m just confused as to what happened. I’ve read that the heat can cause it to inflate further and it was 96 degrees today. But I’ve pumped 2 up before and not had one pop.

The reviews on the board are pretty good and not many have had this issue. I realize it’s not a super high quality board. I’m just wondering what may have happened and want to try to prevent it from happening again. Do I just have bad luck with the board/brand or was it the heat today? Any thoughts would be extremely helpful!
