Pregnancy after loss

So a cousin of mine had mc (14w).. then had to go through d n c. Her period has not returned. And 6weeks passed she n her husband did it. She keeps seeing faint positive. Now she is 7+ weeks since the day of mc. How long does it take for previous hcg to go down?
