M1W1-2 Jane or M1W1 Lucia

I currently have Jane M0W0 but with only one more of the yellow currency left for exchanging her weapon. I've heard her weapon scales very well with copies too. I am very interested in her M2 as I really like playing her but would not be able to obtain her from the paying event or the shop. I've seen a lot of people speculate that she will not get a rerun because she's both in the shop and event.

One of my other favourite teams to play is Yixuan and my Lucia is currently M0W0 as well. Would it be more worth for me to leave my Jane as is and wait to get her engine from shop to instead invest in Lucia W1? And is Janes M1 still worth it "just in case" she does get a rerun for M2?
